WONDERING....

Wondering if Ben's face looks swollen.  It's hard for me to tell as much because I'm with him all the time.  The visiting nurse was here today to change his PICC dressing and she seems to think that he looks a little bloated.  (his belly looks pretty big too)  Wondering what my friends in cyberspace think?  His hands are still not good.  I'm thinking that it might be a fungal type of problem.  We have a nystatin powder on board now and I am really trying to keep them dry.  It's not easy work.  The good news is that his left lung seems to be doing really well.  I'll take it! :)

Ben does look a little swollen....I notice it is his chin/neck area. I wouldn't have noticed it though, if you hadn't metioned it.

Hope the fungal thing clears up! Love and Hugs!!!

To me he looks swollen and off. He looks like he isn't feeling to well. I hope it is just the camera adding 10lbs, but I am not so sure. :(

Becky he does look a little swollen. Reminds me of how Junior looked after being on prednisone for a long time(actually Junior still has the puffy cheeks).
Junior has a fungal issue on his head and the doc has him on some special shampoo. she told us we could use it on his skin also if we noticed any areas that looked like they needed it.
Big hugs, glad the lung is doing well.

Yes, he does. PIctures are hard to tell, but to me, he does look puffy... and still mighty handsome too.

Hello! I am so happy that I stumbled across your blog today...I found the link on FCM. You have a beautiful family! Ben is such a fighter. These kiddos are tough aren't they? My daughter, Samantha, was diagnosed with Primary Autosommal Recessive Microcephaly abut 4 years ago now -- she'll be 4 in June. Though our situations are different, it's nice to come across another family who is in this small community. AND, I was so excited to when I realized that you are also LDS. Hello...how did I not notice everything on your side bar? Not sure. I have to say that the one thing, above all, that has given me strength has been my faith in our Heavenly Father's plan. And most definitely, I have a deeper appreciation for the resurrection. What a glorious day that will be. We have a family blog http://marcusandjenny.blogspot.com and email me some time if you want

He does look a bit puffy Becky....Looks like Jophies steroid "moon face". Is he on any? Wondering if the Nystatin worked? If not did they offer Diflucan? I'm sure he's been on it. It always works better for Jophie.
