SAYING THANK YOU...

I didn't take pictures of the two GIANT carrot cakes I made.
I didn't take pictures of people signing Ben's book.
I didn't take pictures of the mingling that we did.
It was because I was too busy saying THANK YOU.
I went up to DHMC today and had a little party.
You see, Ben LOVED parties...especially in the PICU.
In honor of HIM, we celebrated his memory.
And I got to personally thank
a lot of the people that impacted OUR life.
Doctors
Nurses
Respiratory Therapists
Techs
Physician's Assistants
Nurse Practioners
Nutritionists
But most of all, FRIENDS.
THANK YOU my friends.
We couldn't have done it without YOU.
xoxo

Don't you become close to the Drs and nurses who are always there when we need them. They always brighten up hospital stays and I understand how special they are to you. What a lovely thing for you to do for them.

I love Ben's Elephant. Where did you get it from? I know some special kids who would love to have a great friend like that.

All because of Ben, it looks like you got to meet some really great friends!

This was so nice of you to have a party for them and to thank them! I bet Ben would be very proud of his Momma! And, I bet everyone at the hospital really appreciated your thoughtfulness! Love and Hugs!!!

His elephant I bought like 6 years ago from JC Penny. It was Christmas time and they had a bunch of different animals displayed full of those little beanies. The elephant called to me. :)

I just wanted to thank you for understanding the need for Ben's team of people to have a chance to party with you and feel Ben's spirit. I used to be a special education teacher and so many times kids would move or in some cases die and I never got to say goodbye and that really was tough, so thanks for embracing all the people who loved Ben!

What an awesome way to say thank you to all the wonderful people at Dartmouth who helped to care for Ben and you as well. So glad to see that beautiful smile on your face. I'm sure everyone will be talking about your visit today for a very long time. You are awesome, my sweet niece. Love you bunches.
