PARENTS...

"Parents who have surrendered the sweetest and smallest flowers from the family's garden need to remember our Heavenly Father. He has promised a special reward to those who now suffer in silence, who spend long days and longer nights through their trying times of bereavement. Our Creator has promised glory. He said, "For after much tribulation come the blessings. Wherefore the day cometh that ye shall be crowned with much glory; the hour is not yet, but nigh at hand." (D&C 58:4) That promised glory includes the blessing of reunion with each child who has left the family circle to help surviving members of the family to draw nearer to God. Those children still live and are an heritage to the Lord." Russell M. Nelson

I love the part about helping other members draw nearer to God! What a great family Ben helped to shape over the years, and in the years to come.

Oh Becky- that was beautiful. I know Ben still has a special mission for your family. I look forward to that day when you have that blessed reunion with your sweet boy. I am thinking of you always. May your heart be filled with love and peace.

Becky, I have been a horrible blogger friend, and I have completely lost touch. The loss of Ben has completely taken me by shock and surprise. With our move, and everything else going on, I haven't been able to keep up on most blogs, and I was skimming my blog roll on My Unique Flowers blog and yours jumped out at me, my heart sank, and I've spent the last hour catching up on everything and wiping away the tears. Ben IS such an inspiration, and he will always be loved and remembered. I know we don't know each other well, and I have been more of a lurker then noter, but I have been around sharing in his journey. I am writing up a blog and I wanted to let you know that I have copied this particular blog, w/ picture, and reposted it in my blog, w/ links to yours and this post. If that is not okay, PLEASE leave me a note and I'll take it down.

I can only send you my hugs and help spread Ben's story just a little more!
